Welcome to Stockholms Garderoben, a passionate venture into fashion and entrepreneurship, founded in the heart of Stockholm, Vasastan, on April 26, 2023. Our journey began as a simple idea between three high school friends with a common goal: to create something of our own, without being tied to traditional employment. Driven by our interest in fashion, we quickly realized that we wanted to do more than just consume trends—we wanted to be a part of them.

Instead of designing our own clothes, we chose to focus on giving new life to used designer clothes. We quickly found the perfect platform for our vision: Plick, a popular app among young people who resold their old designer clothes. Our business idea was simple but effective—instead of selling clothes from our own closets, we would buy used designer clothes and resell them with a keen eye for quality and style.

Our initial investment was small: five carefully selected garments from suppliers we found through thorough online research. To our great surprise, these garments sold faster than we ever imagined. The success gave us the confidence to expand, and soon our inventory was filled with brands such as Ralph Lauren, Tiger of Sweden, Oscar Jacobson and John Henric.

A turning point came in the summer of 2023 when our TikTok account exploded in popularity. Through creative marketing and genuine engagement, we reached an ever-growing audience. Social media became not just a way to showcase our products, but a channel to build a community of fashion-minded young people who share our passion for style and sustainability. We started experimenting with different types of content: style guides, behind-the-scenes videos, and photoshoots. This allowed us to not only sell clothes, but also create a space where our followers felt inspired and included.

Today we continue to grow, but our core values remain the same: to offer high-quality second-hand designer clothing at an affordable price, with a focus on personal service and a smooth customer experience. We believe that fashion should be both fun and sustainable, and we are proud to contribute to more conscious consumption. Our team is constantly working to improve the range, find new exciting suppliers and explore innovative ways to improve the customer experience.
